Is that the bottle of wine we gave you in Atlanta?

I saw the show in Boulder, Colorado.
It was a fantastic show that the three of you put on! I had two friends with me and they now understand my appreciation and admiration of RDLATB. I plan on going to the show in Commerce City, July 18th. Any chance of obtaining a back stage pass/getting to meet/hang out with you guys? Never hurts to ask, is what I always say! It is something I have never done before, although I have experienced many concerts and live music gigs. Music has been a huge part of my life and has kept my head above water in many different and strange scenarios. Many blessings to all the musicians and artists of the world!!! My life is much richer and makes more sense because of you all!! Rock on....

I'm totally hooked.

Seriously, I had to go out out buy a resonator guitar and start learning old delta blues tunes as I try to teach myself to play bottle neck slide... with limited success, but the experience has been great!

It seems like you play a lot in standard tuning, which seems to be more difficult to do with a slide, but you pull it off with style!

Maybe one day you'll do a guitar clinic up in Winnipeg, Canada? eh? ...

The only think cooler than your guitar playing is your lyrics! Keep it up!

Cheers,

You're Welcome Rocco :) haha. I hope that you had a little time in between sets to let that cut heal. It seems like that would become a recurring wound (and hurt like hell every time you play guitar.) Ouch! I'm sure you'll have bandaids and Neosporin ready the next time around.

I'm SO glad you added a couple of stops in the Los Angeles vicinity to your tour - THANK YOU! (The Ford Amphitheatre show was amazing btw.)

I hope the rest of your tour goes very well. (Oh, I see on the setlists posted that you played "Soul" a couple of times earlier in the last tour. Yay! Even though I didn't see those shows- I love that you played that song- very cool.)

Take care of yourself (and your fingers).

I'm here to correct myself. I've had a few comments sent my way, and discovered some things on my own, but it seems I was wrong to assume that you played a lot of your songs in Standard Tuning.

I based my assumption on all the guitar tabs I could find, which all seemed to be in Standard.

Well, I was struggling through some standard tuning version of "Colorful" when I realized how much easier it would be to play in Open G with a capo on 2... I then realized it was just as easy to play in Open D!

I'd always suspected open tunings from the start... but those damn internet "tabbers" and their lack of familiarity with alternate tunings and sheer stubborn adherence to some kind of standard tuning doctrine threw me off!

Please consider me "corrected".

Cheers,
